Stiga connaught junior classification event round 1
STIGA
The next event for Mayo Players is the Connaught Junior Classification Event round 1.
Saturday the 17th December 2011
This event is for players from all over Connaught to enter.And where players try to qualify for the Connaught Junior Interprovincial Teams
Players will travel from Mayo,Sligo,Roscommon,and Galway. to compete.
It is also an official Connaught ranking event. And players will also be trying to finish as high as possible in the rankings to be able to attend the Connaught Junior Training Camps in the New Year.
The event will be held in St,Gerards De La Salle Hall
Castlebar
County Mayo.
Closing date for entries is Friday the 9th December 2011.
Mayo Players return home from the Stiga Munster Open
Eddie Ditchburn, Brian Dunleavy, Martin Williams, and Marie Williams have been selected for the Irish National Teams Training camp for the weekend of the 10th/11th December 2011.
They will be joining Players from Leinster,Munster, and Ulster at the camp.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the youngsters, as it is a stepping stone in the right direction for them to try and stake a claim for the National Teams.
Mayo Players returned home from the Stiga Munster Open held in Killarney Last weekend the 2nd to the 4th December 2011.
In what was an enjoyable but tough event. the performance of the weekend was young Eddie Ditchburn from Midfield Swinford.
