Below 5 Knockmore table tennis club members receive their clothing after being sponsored by Brusna Energy Solutions. the players Aoife Sweeney, Conor Brogan, Adam Nealon, Shauna Sweeney, and Adam Hardy pictured were delighted to recieve their clothing.
A further 13 players receive sponorships. The 13 players all hail from KILKELLY TABLE TENNIS CLUB.AND KNOCKMORE TABLE TENNIS CLUB
They join the 4 that are already sponsored bringing the total number of players sponsored to 17
The first round of the Stiga Challenger events took place in Club Donic Lucan Dublin on sunday the 9th October with some success for Mayo players
In what was a day of fantastic table tennis Mayo players won three of the five divisions that were up for grabs the highlight being Martin Williams who won the division 1 title.
In attendance was Mr Joe Hickey the I.T.T.A.s President. Who was pleased at the attendance of the event with 120+ players.
with 20 tables being used and full for the whole day.
15 Players from Mayo are travelling to Lucan Dublin on Sunday the 9th October for the first event of the series.
Players from Swinford, Kilkelly, Knockmore, Knock, Kiltimagh,are travelling for the event..
The Challenger series is part of the I.T.T.A.s WIS programme and is sponsored by Tommy Fitzgerald of Stiga Ireland
The Mayo Leagues get underway the first weekend of November 2011, Anyone wishing to play in the leagues please contact editchbu@eircom.net to register.
The leagues will be run over four weekends of the season 2011/2012
The cost for entries to the leagues is €20/00 per player.
To be paid before the first round of matches.
