The seasons Challenger events get underway on Sunday the 9th October 2011.
The first event of the series is being held in Lucan Dublin.

Mayo players return home from D.C.U. with three trophies, after an exciting two days of Table Tennis. With the highlight being Marie Williams
The Mayo Table Tennis Leagues are gearing up for there fourth year.
The Leagues get underway at the end of October, There are open to any player from Connaught wishing to play.
The new season kicks off this Saturday / Sunday 10th /11th September 2011 with the first National Event the Irish Junior Classification.
This is an important event for the Mayo players taking part as it is the First ranking Event for the season and helps to set up the remaining events for them.
This season is going to be tough for the Mayo players as both Daragh Egan and Martin-Edward Ditchburn move up to the cadets and junior catogories,
 Meanwhile Martin Williams, and Brian Dunleavy Are still in the under 12s and under 14s and they are joined by newcomer James Joyce from Knock who will be competing in his first National Event outside of Connaught,
Meanwhile Eddie Ditchburn moves up from the under 10s to the under 12s and under 14s. It is going to be a tough season for the Mayo players but everyone is looking forward to the challengers they face In the forthcoming season.
Meanwhile in the girls section of the Event we have Marie Williams from Kilkelly moving up to the under 12s and under 14s girls event from the under10s. Marie will be hoping to produce the form she showed last season Culminating in winning Gold for Ireland in the 6 nations.
Marie is joined by up and coming players Sarah Dunleavy and Anna Tigue who will be entering the under 10s for the first time,
both players are 8 years old and are looking forward to their first big event of the season.
Mayo Table Tennis will be following the players throughout the season and reports will be posted on the website of their performances.
